Cookies and tracking.
Last Updated: January 28, 2026
1 · Overview
This page explains how Wideband, LLC uses cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies when you visit wideband.ai, the client portal, or any of our hosted services. Read alongside our Privacy Policy, which governs how we handle personal information more broadly.
2 · What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let the site remember information about your visit — such as login state, preferences, or analytics — across page loads and return visits. We use the term "cookies" throughout this page to mean cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, session storage, and similar tracking technologies.
3 · Categories of cookies we use
3.1 Essential cookies
Required for the Services to function. They keep you signed in, secure your session against forgery, and remember the state of forms you're filling out. We use:
sb-<project-ref>-auth-token— Supabase Auth session cookie. Set when you sign in; cleared when you sign out.sb-<project-ref>-auth-token-code-verifier— Supabase Auth PKCE verifier. Set transiently during the magic-link flow; cleared once authentication completes.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled — without them you cannot sign in or use authenticated parts of the site.
3.2 Performance cookies
Collect anonymous information about how visitors use the site so we can measure performance and improve the experience. These include page-view counters, time-on-page metrics, and aggregated session data routed to our internal analytics events table.
3.3 Functional cookies
Remember preferences and settings — such as form progress on the onboarding flow before sign-in (stored in local storage), and remembered UI preferences in your client portal.
3.4 Marketing cookies
Track activity across sites to deliver relevant advertising and measure campaign effectiveness. We use these only on public marketing pages, not inside the authenticated portal. Specific marketing pixels (if any are active) are disclosed in the consent banner at the bottom of marketing pages.
4 · Third-party providers
Some cookies are set by third-party services we integrate with. These include:
- Supabase (authentication, database). Required for sign-in.
- Vercel (hosting, edge analytics). Routes performance telemetry on production deployments.
- LeadConnector / GoHighLevel (chat widget on the home page). Sets cookies for chat continuity across visits.
- Stripe (payment processing). Cookies are set only on checkout pages, scoped to the checkout session.
Each third party operates under its own privacy policy. We link to those policies in our Privacy Policy.
5 · Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete cookies
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies (note: this may impact functionality, including the ability to sign in)
- Receive warnings before cookies are stored
For more information, visit your browser's help section or www.allaboutcookies.org.
6 · Do Not Track signals
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Because there is no common understanding of how to interpret DNT signals, our Services do not currently respond to browser DNT signals. You can still control tracking through your browser's cookie settings and through the opt-out toggles in your client portal.
7 · Changes to this page
We may update this Cookies & Tracking page from time to time. When we make material changes — such as adding a new third-party tracker — we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify users through the consent banner or by email.
